A stabilized extract from plants of the Allium L. family increases feed absorption and supports the body’s natural responses when exposed to microorganisms. Zinc oxide is known for its beneficial effects on characteristic symptoms of the digestive system. Zinc in the form of protected nanoparticles (which are 2,000 times smaller than other forms of zinc) penetrates the intestinal walls much more quickly and reaches the lymphatic system. The product’s ingredients have an astringent effect on the intestinal mucosa, thereby limiting fluid secretion into the intestinal lumen, which in turn reduces the risk of rapid dehydration. The organic acids contained in the preparation lower the pH of the intestinal contents, which supports the restoration of beneficial bacterial flora.
