Epsomic

A precisely formulated blend of anionic salts (so-called “bitter salts”) is designed to restore proper calcium metabolism. It works by reducing the cation-anion difference (DCAD) and helps lower blood pH, thereby influencing the activity of parathyroid hormone, which regulates the release of calcium from bones. It limits the impact of excessive amounts of sodium and potassium ingested from feed and additionally provides an appropriate dose of phosphorus. The product is particularly recommended during the period immediately before and after calving. The addition of natural substances also promotes adequate water intake, which increases the digestibility of nutrients and improves sensory qualities.
