The use of essential oils from plants of the Labiatae family and the active compounds carvacrol and thymol—found in large quantities in these plants—has a positive effect on the animals’ appetite. It contains natural antioxidants. The ingredients in the preparation counteract the harmful effects of free radicals and protect the unsaturated fats and vitamins A, D, and E found in feed. Thymol stimulates the secretion of gastric juices and aids digestion; it increases the secretion of digestive enzymes, which limits the growth of harmful microbes in the intestines.

Calves: 10–20 ml per calf, once a day, after dissolving in 1 liter of water.
Cows: 50–100 ml per head once daily for at least 2–3 days or until symptoms subside, after dissolving in 1–1.5 liters of water.
Pigs: 250–300 ml per 1,000 I of water.
