This professional bolus applicator allows for convenient administration of boluses to adult cows. The applicator features a comfortable plastic handle, a stainless steel arm and sleeve, and a flexible rubber tip for safe bolus placement.

How it works:
1 – Remove the bolus from the blister pack and make sure it is at room temperature (15–20°C) before administration
2 – Insert the bolus completely into the flexible tip of the applicator
3 – Place the end of the applicator in the cow’s mouth, behind the tongue, and press the trigger. The bolus should release easily. If you feel resistance, adjust the position of the applicator until the bolus releases without difficulty.
4 – Make sure the animal has swallowed the bolus. The swallowing reflex should occur easily, and the cow should have no trouble swallowing the bolus. If the swallowing reflex does not occur, the bolus may not have been placed at the very tip of the tongue; in that case, adjust your technique to ensure the bolus is positioned correctly. The shaft of the applicator should be aligned with the midline of the head, and the trigger grip should be in a vertical plane.
